Sister League of San Diego is a local nonprofit dedicated to providing safe, supportive housing for women affected by mental illness, homelessness, trauma, and domestic abuse. With a mission centered on empowerment, they help women build confidence, gain independence, and move toward brighter, more stable futures.
Suffs hits the stage telling the powerful story of the women’s suffrage movement in the early 1900s. Written by Shaina Taub, the show shines a spotlight on trailblazers like Alice Paul, Ida B. Wells, and Carrie Chapman Catt. With modern energy and award-winning music, Suffs celebrates the fight for the 19th Amendment while honoring themes of activism, diversity, and equality.
